The facts

Foundation & History

The founding brothers grew up in rural East Westphalia. There, they often observed neighboring farmers painstakingly cleaning the inside of soiled vans with a high-pressure cleaner on "wash day". The question quickly arose as to whether there was a better solution for this. Intensive discussions and research showed that the high-pressure cleaner is the standard even in highly sensitive areas such as food transport. Both founders are practically inclined, having completed an apprenticeship at Miele, among other things: Felix in the metalworking field and Patrick as an automation technician. They then intensified their exchange with the logistics industry and developed the first prototype of fully automated cargo hold cleaning in a former chicken coop.

The product

Our product is a fully automated truck bed cleaning system. This consists of a loading ramp-like base station, which the truck approaches, and a robot that performs the cleaning. The entire setup including the docked truck only needs the length of a truck parking space + 3 meters of space. The cleaning is certified more thorough, more than twice as fast and sustainable (75% less water, 90% less chemicals, 60% less energy) due to the full automation. But it's not just the physical product, the ecosystem is also part of the product: the machine is connected to a cloud that reaches directly into the carrier's TMS/ERP. This allows cleaning slots to be allocated perfectly according to route planning, certificates to be played into the system and full service to be guaranteed. The 24/7 full service includes predictive maintenance and chemical replenishment. This is billed through the pay-per-wash model, where the operator pays a small fee per wash to KATMA CleanControl.

Costs

KATMA CleanControl does not incur any purchase or fixed costs, as the machine is not for sale. Billing is done through our pay-per-wash model, which charges only one fee per cleaning. This includes full service, predictive maintenance, and chemical deliveries.

From which fleet size is KATMA CleanControl worthwhile?

One, because you can sell the free washing slots on your machine through us to other users from our network. This gives you the option of optimally utilizing your machine.

What does KATMA CleanControl cost?

KATMA CleanControl is charged per use (Pay-Per-Wash). The fee depends individually on the type of cleaning. At the end of the month, you will receive an invoice that includes only the washes performed.

For whom is the KATMA interesting?

The KATMA is interesting for every type and size of forwarding agency and truck service provider (car washes, workshops and service stations). A KATMA is also worthwhile at other accessible locations with a high volume of trucks.

How much money do I earn with KATMA CleanControl?

This depends primarily on the location. You can obtain a location analysis without obligation HERE on request.

What is included in the full service?

The full service includes predictive maintenance and chemical replenishment. In this way, we ensure that the KATMA is ready for operation around the clock. The full service is always already included in the Pay-Per-Wash fee.

Can I use KATMA without full service?

No, this is not possible. To enable certification after each cleaning, the chemistry and operation of the KATMA must meet precise specifications.

Do I need personnel to operate the KATMA?

No, the machine is fully automated and therefore operable by the operator.
